Dictador
Dictador rum's story began in 1751 with a stern Spanish tax collector named Severo Arango y Ferro, who was nicknamed "Dictador" and became a rum enthusiast. His descendant, Don Julio Arango y Parra, founded Destilería Colombiana in 1913 in Cartagena, Colombia, to honor this legacy. The brand has since been passed down through three generations of the Parra family, and it is now led by Master Blender Hernan Parra, who continues to combine traditional aging methods with modern innovations
