To celebrate this noble moment, Royal Lochnagar selected reserve was developed in 1988. The refined flavour of this revered highland single malt scotch whisky will likely attract connoisseurs today, as then. Tasting Notes Nose - Green and mossy, with damson jam; sawn wood and pine resin; behind lie deep toffee notes and a freshness that balances the wood. Palate - Smooth mouthfeel. Fresh wood notes. Hint of sweetness, drying quickly. Finish - Sharp, well balanced.
