Wine maker notes The first Grupo Pesquera white wine is made from 100 per cent Airen grapes and aged in oak barrels for 24 months. A wine with huge potential, it improves and becomes more rounded over time in the bottle. The grapes are grown on sandy soils, affording them unprecedented quality.
Producer The four bodegas that comprise Alejandro Fernandez’s wine legacy, and constitute Grupo Pesquera, share a passion for winemaking that has perfected over time. The strong bond to this great winemaker’s homeland is also reflected in the group emblem: the symbolic Archway and Tower of Pesquera de Duero, the characteristic label on his mythical Tinto Pesquera wines.
