Chateau Leoville Poyferre Saint Julien 750ml
$200.59 $171.49 price per bottle

The wines of Château Léoville Poyferré are first distinguished by their considerable aromatic complexity ranging from red fruits, such as cherry, to mushroom for older vintages. Thanks to its terroir, Léoville Poyferré displays a magnificent balance between alcohol, acidity and tannins. The wine develops a sumptuous velvet quality in addition to plenty of elegance and finesse, altogether with a very great potential for aging. Producer The origin of the estate dates back to 1638. At that time, Leoville was the largest Medoc property, fragmented over time and generations. The legacy of the grand vin of Leoville Poyferre began in 1840 and went on to be consecrated as a Second Classified Growth fifteen years later. Didier Cuvelier has presided over the destiny of this gem since 1979.
