Marchesi Di Gresy Moscato D'asti La Serra 750ml
$53.59 $50.29 price per bottle

The Tenute Cisa Asinara dei Marchesi di Gresy, with three estates in the Langhe and Monferrato regions, is recognized for producing many of the greatest wines of Piedmont. After years of selling grapes from the estate to the region’s top producers, in 1973 Alberto di Gresy began vinifying his own wine with the objective of expressing the unique character of the terrain, vineyard sites and varietals. The Martinenga estate, the only monopole in the Commune of Barbaresco, grows primarily Nebbiolo grapes as well as Barbera and Cabernet Sauvignon. The southern exposure and blue marl soils produce fruit that is transformed into a Barbaresco of extraordinary class and finesse. Also, at Martinenga, are newer vineyards of Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay. Nearby in the Commune of Treiso is the Monte Aribaldo estate where Dolcetto d’Alba is grown. In the Monferrato zone, in the Commune of Cassine, the La Serra estate produces exclusively Moscato d’Asti.
