Solstice vineyard is a special Riesling vineyard planted in 1972 in what we refer to as ?the golden bench. ? It is located on a perfect south ? southeast-facing slope on the highest elevation available in the lower Yakima Valley (1,100 feet). At this elevation, the cooler temperatures preserve the acidity of Riesling and the shallow soils make vine struggle and express their minerality better. Pale straw with complex aromas of jasmine, peach, and wet stone. Solstice has concentration and all the elegance of a great Austrian Riesling.
