Wine Description The 2020 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Rouge is a blend of 38% Syrah, 35% Grenache, 25% Mourvèdre, and 2% other permitted varieties. It presents a deep ruby hue. On the nose, it offers aromas of blackberry, raspberry, wild strawberry, licorice, dried herbs, cloves, and hints of mint. The palate is full-bodied and concentrated, with lively acidity and velvety tannins, leading to a sapid finish. Aged for 12 months in French oak casks and barrels, this wine is expected to develop further complexity over the next decade.
