Fifth State Distillery, Bridgeport, CT is proud to announce it has consolidated its Asylum and Fifth State brands under the Fifth State name. Fifth State refers to Connecticut which joined the Union in 1788. ”Our whiskeys have always had the Fifth State name and our vodkas & gin had the Asylum name, we felt Fifth State better represents our roots and pride in the great state of CT” says Founder Bridget Schulten. We also introduced a bold new label design. Fifth State Distillery proudly uses CT grown, non-GMO corn to make it’s gin, whiskeys and vodkas in Bridgeport and is ”truly local”. We released 4 new distillery products last month, highlighting our innovative spirit. We continue our commitment to our customers and to Connecticut.
