An independant bottling from Gordon and Macphail of this lesser known Speyside distillery. As with all these new Connoisseurs Choice bottlings it's single cask and cask strength. Drawn from a refill American Hogshead, this has aromas of pear, vanilla, lemon and hay. The palate is warming with chilli chocoate leading to lemon and grapefruit flavours. The finish is lingering with cocoa and toasty malt.
