Aromatic and flavoursome, this 11 Year Old Single Cask has been matured in American Oak and bottled at a natural cask strength of 59. 8% ABV. One of 341 bottles to be released. This is te 2nd batch of Single cask whiskies from the Alistair Walker Whisky Company, cask strength and natural colour with a focus on some high quality but lesser known distilleries. Official Tasting Notes Nose Toffee and almonds. Nutty. Taste Full-bodied. Shortbread and butterscotch. Some dried herbs - rosemary and thyme. Soft, sweet spicy notes. Finish Sweet and peppery finish. The distillery’s long fermentation is said to give the whisky a sweet, fruity character. This single cask bottling is a big dram and certainly packs a punch – full-bodied and weighing in at a mighty 59. 8%!
