Nose: There are traces of linseed oil, cricket bats, sawdust, then bruised apples. Water freshens and raises the latter –now waxy green apples, but still with attractive spice and scented wood. Palate: In the mouth, the sweet Speyside character is rapidly followed by raisins and walnuts. Finish: Tingly, spritzich mouth-feel, and a lingering chocolatey finish.
