With aromas of ripe red berries, cherry liqueur and chocolate-covered raisins, this full-bodied wine exhibits flavours of Saskatoon berries, black currant, and mocha with a med-high tannin structure with a very dry finish. You will find balanced hints of barrel spice, leather, and a herbaceous note of sage on the finish. Roast beef dinner with all the fixings, stuffed pork tenderloin or roasted chicken. Mushroom risotto with grilled asparagus would be a great vegetarian pairing. Gorgonzola and most blue cheeses would pair nicely.
