Soalheiro, established in 1974 by João António Cerdeira, was among the pioneers in cultivating Alvarinho grapes as a continuous vineyard in Melgaço. Today, the third-generation family members continue this innovative spirit, focusing on expressing the unique terroir of their region. Wine Description This wine presents a bright, lemon-yellow hue and exudes elegant aromas with pronounced mineral notes. On the palate, it is crisp, dry, and persistent, showcasing earthy and stony flavours. A notable sensation of saltiness reflects the influence of the granite soils on the Alvarinho grape.
