$375.00 price per bottle
Joseph Drouhin is a family-owned winery in Burgundy, France, founded in 1880. The estate is known for its profound respect for 'terroir' and has been practising organic viticulture since the late 1980s, followed by biodynamic viticulture in the 1990s. The fourth generation of the Drouhin family now manages the business, which includes vineyards across nearly 90 appellations. Their winemaking philosophy is based on providing "natural answers to natural problems". Wine Description The Joseph Drouhin 'Vosne-Romanée' 2023 is a red wine made entirely from Pinot Noir grapes. It presents a beautiful, deep, and brilliant colour. The aromas are striking and diverse, with notes of wild cherry, nutmeg, camphor wood, and fine leather. Over time, a subtle aroma of truffle can also develop. On the palate, the wine is powerful and fleshy, with a sturdy body and a perfect balance between tannin and acidity. The finish is long and satisfying, characterized by a wealth of harmonious sensations.
