Le Carillon de l'Angélus is the second wine from Château Angélus, a Premier Grand Cru Classé 'A' estate located in the Bordeaux region of France, specifically in the Saint-Émilion appellation. The de Boüard family has owned and operated the château since 1782, and its history is deeply tied to the Angélus prayer, which was traditionally heard from the three churches surrounding the vineyard. Since 2012, Stéphanie de Boüard-Rivoal, who represents the eighth generation of the family, has been at the helm of the estate. The winemaking is precise and meticulous, with a focus on preserving aromatics and adapting techniques to the specific style of the wine. Wine Description This wine is a blend of 75% Merlot and 25% Cabernet Franc. It is appreciated for its pure fruit aromas, velvety tannins, and elegant finish.
