The Mount Gay distillery, established in 1703, is the world's oldest continuously running commercial rum distillery. The distillery uses pure, coral-filtered water and a blend of Barbadian and Caribbean molasses to craft their rums. Mount Gay rums are produced in traditional double copper pot and copper column stills. Rum Description Color : The Rum's ageing process suggests a golden or amber hue.
