Tart black-plum aromas meet with tangy violets and a bit of tar on the nose of this bottling. Roasted berry, coffee and bacon flavors show on the palate, where tart plum-skin flavors come through onto the finish.
The Syrah shows bright aromas along with great structure. Classic aromas of boysenberry and blackberry with a smokey accent dominate the wine, while cranberry, blackberry flavors and refined tannins round out the flavors and finish.
